Morning showers possible Thursday ahead of dry, humid afternoon | Forecast

Overnight storms are sticking closer to Austin, and severe weather is avoiding San Antonio.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio was facing a risk of severe weather Wednesday night, but storms are sticking closer to Austin overnight. Morning showers are possible Thursday in the Alamo City, but the afternoon will be dry and humid.

A Flood Watch remains in effect for the region until 7 a.m. Thursday.

Cloudy conditions will stick around Friday before strong storms push through the Hill Country once again that night.

Expect afternoon highs of 86 degrees for Thursday and Friday to close out our week on a warm note.
